I've been playing almost 50 years and have owned everything from a high-end Taylor and a Martin to a $15.00 Marco Polo! I recently bought my son a CD-60C to take with him to college and was so impressed I got one for myself (although I got the CE).

It sounds nuts but this is the finest guitar I've ever played. The action is simply astounding right out of the box - it is so low I can play for hours without any discomfort, and there is no string buzz!

After a few weeks, the tone has mellowed out to a beautiful, rich bright sustaining sound and the bass makes my chest rattle.

Call me crazy, but I love this guitar! It's gotten me excited about being a player again!

I bought a CD60 in July after decided to take up guitar again after a 25 year absence due to a left hand injury. I don't know if it's the finest guitar available or not but I love mine and it does sound and plays great. Even the case is top notched and probably worth $60- $80 itself. I bought the sunburst one and since have bought a Highway One Telecaster and play guitar at least an hour a day and am having a blast and learning more than I ever knew when I was a partying teenager. I didn't even know tabulatures were around but have a stack of them I printed from Ultimate guitar and other sites. Have you tried the Highway One Tele?

Bought one (CD60-CE) as a camping guitar this summer, and found I like it a lot!
Using it more that I expected too.

Finding the preamp takes a bit of getting used to. After a few bouts of horrid feedback from amps and pa learned to turn the pre-amp way down before plugging it :D

Looks to be a very well CnC made guitar!
