Does anybody know if the specs for the Tim Armstrong were changed recently to include binding on the neck??? I recently received mine and was (pleasantly) surprized to see a bound neck. As the pics on the site show an UNbound neck, and the spec sheet doesn't list this as a spec, I'm wondering if this was a mistake made at the factory, or a last minute spec change. It would be rather cool to know if I own a rarity, or just an updated version.

Anybody else here own one, and if so, does it have a bound neck??

I have one, for 2 months now, and yes, it has a bound neck.
Actually, I didn't notice that it should have been unbound lol.
Sorry to disappoint you if you were hoping for something rare.
It still is a great guitar, amazing value for money, I totally love it.
Enjoy it! Or, as the one and only Greg Koch would say, "Feast!"

I'm not disappointed in the least. If anything, it reaffirms my trust in Fenders Q&A division. The quality of this guitar FAR exceeds any other concert body acoustic in it's price range, and even surpasses those with price tags approaching $1000. Recently a friend of mine w/ a Taylor 314 was so blown away that he asked to borrow it for a recording session!!! I just hope that the extreme demand for this guitar doesn't result in a bunch of lemons being rushed out to the masses...

Mine also has neck binding. I got it a few weeks ago.

Have to agree that this guitar is awesome. Everyone who has played it has loved it.

They've always had the binding, enjoy!

Has anyone found a Fender case or bag that fits this guitar? I've noticed several comments about this problem. I'm interested in getting one (in LH), and would like a Fender case or bag as well. I'm pretty sure the Fender dreadnough case would fit, but is the guitar too loose or not deep enough in the case?

Thanks gang,
Tom
