Sam Ash is blowing out the Stratacoustic. At $129, I just could not say no, especially since I had birthday money burning a hole in my pocket.
I picked up the walnut stain and I love the thing. Finding a case is slightly trickier.

I thought there'd be more love for the Stratacoustic. Am I the only one who likes this guitar?

I've tried it and it's okay. I like the looks of the telecoustic better but would prefer it to have a wood back and sides for better tone.

I have the Telecoustic deluxe, I'm not a fan of 'bowl backs' you see.

Great price though man, well done!

Hello Platypibri,

A good deal indeed.

I too just picked a walnut Stratacoustic up at the Sam Ash in Manhattan on 48th Street last week for $129.99. It's a nice piece to have around and noodle on. It needs a set-up to make it great. I didn't need it and wasn't looking for one, but at that price, how can you resist? When GAS strikes, it's hard to resist.
