Hello

New UK member to the forum, so wanted to say Hi to all fellow musicians out there ! :D

I've just purchased my first Fender - after quite a few months searching - I finally tracked down the "Vince Ray Hot Rod Series - Unlucky 13" which I am delighted with.

I do have a question, which I hope somebody on the forum can answer for me?

Should this guitar have come with a Certificate of Authenticity ? I did read that Fender do not always do this, but this is a limited edition series - so ??????????? I purchased it *AS NEW* from a genuine Fender dealer in Europe.

If anybody can help - that would be awesome !

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome aboard aftershox. The answer to your question is no. The Vince Ray series is just a style of paint graphic that was added to the guitar to mimic the same style that Vince Ray is famous for on cars. I really like it also but nevertheless i don't think Fender will authenticate a guitar made such as the 300 series.
