I've been thinking that i need a soundhole cover for feedback but i'm not sure which is the best kind to get. I've seen the rubber ones and then i found the lute ones that are made of solid wood. Anyone use these and how good are they if so?

Sometimes I just tape a piece of cardboard on the top of the soundhole.

I've thought of that but it doesn't look professional not that i am but it would also leave tape glue on the guitar and i don't want that.

Does anyone else on here own soundhole covers or am i the only one with this problem?

I agree,,,
It does not look professional.....

It is just one way to see if the feedback problem go away...
If it does then you can go and buy a nice looking one.....

Take the guitar end go to the store and try them out...You will find one for you.....

I had a hard time finding an oval one to fit my Montara acoustic. Finally snagged one on Evil-bay for around $8...def needed when playing at our church, small space for band/bad echos.

Is it wooden or rubber? I'm trying to see which one work the best without buying both types.
