What's the point of having a Fender and no info...plus it's a laminate top sooo that makes it worse

Dude, Regarding the DG60 Fender Acoustic. I bought mine at Guitar Center in Woodbury, MN. It is a Fender, made in China, it had a short production run. The specs are exactly as you described.
I have a Fender Electric (Robin Ford Model) and three other acoustic guitars I have modified the action on all of them to best suit my style. I like a low fast action. The DG60 when properly set up is one hell of a nice acoustic, great sound and tone, especially on the higher notes. For the price this guitar is a steal!! I've played the high end Martins & Taylors that did not impress me like the 60 does.

You are not comparing a Taylor or a Martin to a $130 laminate top made in china are you? That sure is a nasty head injury you got.....you might want to go get that checked out! :?

I'm guessing loyalty and tone prefferance is a large factor not to mention the price difference. I've tried the Martins and Taylors but yet i choose to play a begginer model Takamine with laminate top because it's what i'm used to(even though i do own a solid top). Solid wood acoustics have way more resonnance than a laminate and if thats what you learn on that will be what you are used to hearing. Some solid woods really don't sound much different to cost as much as they do. Just my 2 cents worth.

Trauma, get real dude. You need to do a better job on your home work. The DG60 has a Spruce Top, Mahogany back & sides, Nato neck (AKA Eastern Mahogany) What I am saying is this; put a good setup and strings on the 60 and it sounds great, especially for the difference in price when compared to the high-end boys. I'm talking knocking around the campfire, taking out on my boat, sitting on the patio having a cold one kind of guitar. I damn sure would not take a $1500+ axe to one of my parties!!

Peace, I'm out....

Model Name: Fender DG-60
Source: China
Serial Number: CSH08004759
Model Number: 096-0705-221
Body Style: Fender® Style Dreadnought

I can't find any pics, info, nothing....it's as if this guitar is a ghost. Whoever can identify it gets to bragg that he stumped Fender at their own game......HELP.......
