I have a mini-jumbo and I love it eventhough it was made in mexico. I recently went to Alaska from minnesota and carried my baby on the plane with me. But, I was jamming with my brothers and one saw two pins missing. The must have been missing for two days as I was at my other brothers house eariler. No tuning problems, somehow the strings stayed in place. I would have normally noticed but jim, jack and bud took care of that. Anyway, looking closer I noticed the bridge cracked down the middle. A couple of willow stems and that was cured. However, I do need to get this fixed and would like to go synthetic or, should I?

You can replace the bridge and if you get one made by another material (I'm sure someone else knows which one cos I don't!), it may make your guitar sound even better!

No need to use synthetic materials... rosewood is standard for a reason. I have walnut on my Gibson, also.

If you're asking how to fix it, you probably shouldn't do it yourself, honestly. The bridge needs to be removed and replaced. The new one has to be routed for a saddle, to maintain intonation, and then attached to the top of the guitar.
