I am considering an acoustic guitar and I only have one question. What's the difference between the phosphor/bronze strings and the nylon strings. I am in the preliminary part of my acoustic quest and haven't been at the store to try them. I though if I asked I might get some good information. Thanks

acoustics wear bronze strings, classical guitars wear nylon ones!

Thank you Wild Rose. I see that you own a CD 60, that is the exact guitar I am considering from Fender. The fact it comes with a case is one of its positive aspects, is the case a good quality? How do you like the guitar? Do you have any complaints about it?
I may now consider a classical guitar because when I see music I like it seems to say nylon strings on it ... so its probably a better thing for me to get. Are they harder to use? I haven't played very long so I don't know if thats an applicable question.

the hard shell case was included for free only to US and Canada, so I didn't get it :(
I am very pleased with the guitar, I've only lowered the action a bit (by adjusting the truss rod), it was high for me. The stock strings were very good too!
I've only played a classical 1-2 times many years ago, and I had a hard time with the fretboard! I didn't like the sound of it either, I prefer steal strings! but again that's only me :)
But if a classical suits your playing style and songs your like to play, then get one!
