Hey guys,

I looking to sell my Fender, California Series, Newporter (official name).
I can't find any info online about what I could sell it for as i believe the model has been discontinued by Fender. Does anyone know how much it would be worth now? Its been used only a handfull of times since bought about 4 years ago. In mint conditition with only very small minor scuffs.

Also as this model has been discontinued, does anyone know whether it could be worth keeping hold of just in case the value increases?

Not many Fender acoustics are investments where you could expect the value to raise very significantly. Newporters usually sell for 'below 200 - above 400' monetary units - and I very much doubt those numbers will even double in the foreseeable future.
On the other hand, if you're not in dire need of cash, these 'discontinueds' are nice to have, and they play quite nice. If you have the slightest chance of regrets to be expected, keep it.

But on the model, even though it doesn't have a crucial effect on the price. AFAIK, the mini Newporter™ (or "Traveler" as Fender called it) is from the new generation (around 2012<) of Fender acoustics, not the California Series of the eighties, or the original US-made acoustics.
The serial would tell the age.

BTW, not many used instruments fulfill the requirements of "mint"...
