...and I don't have any photos. About 10 years ago I saw a fender A-E guitar on ebay or Gbase, either Auditorium or Dreadnought size body, non-cutaway, and constructed out of all solid wood which was referred to as "Mexican Rosewood". If I remember correctly it was a darker natural color with possibly a little bling in the binding, and 3 + 3 tuners. I haven't seen any other like it. Does anybody here have an idea what model this might have been? I've searched the web but haven't come up with anything besides the newer Fender models. Thanks for reading.

I browsed through the Frontlines from 2004 and later, no acoustic fits the description straight on. Because of that (and also the 'bling binding') I'm thinking it might be a Limited Edition/Dealer Select/FSR model, and those are not documented well.
So, unless some forum member has/had/has-knowledge-of the specific model, not much hope here.

That "Mexican mahogany" is another name for Honduras mahogany. The model would probably be called "all mahogany" in Fender lingo.

Keep on googling. Try to find a lookalike in natural color, then you can google for other features; all mahogany, FSR etc.

Wow, thanks for straightening me out. I could have sworn I actually remembered that but apparently it never happened!

Maybe you could hold it closer to your computer screen so we could get a better look at it. The clairvoyant is out sick.

Exactly what I expected from you. I've noticed you usually weigh in when you don't have anything useful to contribute.

Publishing photos would be more useful if you want an answer.

I have time. Maybe someone who actually knows about the guitar in question will respond someday, instead of these same 2 guys who are eager to prove that they know nothing about the subject.
