Has anyone ordered directly from Fender/Squire by using this site?

If so, how what was your experience? Did you receive it quickly and without any problems?

I looks like some stuff you can order directly from them, some stuff you can't,
and some stuff is on the website but is not available from anywhere now.

What's up with that?

I haven't ordered anything from here directly, so I couldn't say about that. As for things not being available elsewhere, I can guess to say that often certain shops will stop carrying these thing for whatever reason (maybe they weren't selling enough of said item and want to clear space?) I've been shopping with American Musical Supply for a few years and have noticed they've done this, especially when the items weren't discontinued from the manufacturer yet. I've actually gotten some good deals because of that with the downside of not able to get them fro them anymore.

I've ordered merchandise through the Fender.com online store without any problem. Not anything big like amps or basses. For that I use Sweetwater.

Yes, there is a lot to be said for the free candy Sweetwater puts in the box. I imagine they have a "candy tech" doing "setups" on the candy bags. I order from them for other reasons....but mostly it is the free candy. Love "Smarties" and how they know that is beyond me but they always send "Smarties." What I don't particularly care for are the calls from my personal adviser there. But again, free candy wins!
