Squier: - Could you please bring back the Squier Vintage Modified Mustang bass.

Also, would you consider making a short scale jazz and short scale precision bass that also use standard size pickups?

I know there's a market for them, and I don't understand why you're letting other companies have all these sales.

I think they actually made a short scale P Bass as a Fender model many moons ago. P Bass Jr. or some name like that. Who knows how that made out.

Now that you mention it, that sort of sounds familiar.

(Does anyone from Fender/Squier ever look at these forums?)

The Squier Mustang was discontinued? I didn't know that. Shows you how long it's been since I've looked at the Squier website. :P I don't even know if they still have the Fender versions still going. I haven't looked around.

Yeah, the Squier section seems to be pretty dead these days, not like a couple of years ago. Times change and people move on, I guess.

You can still get the Squier Mikey Way Mustang, but the Vintage Modified is discontinued.

The Fender site still shows the Mustang reissue and the Pawn Shop Mustang, but I don't think there are
any new ones available in stores.
They need to do a little site maintenance, I think.

Yeah, probably the case.
