the poly paint finnish of my bass is so thick and shinny It takes a lot of work to get that oxidized faded look, but so far I'm happy with the results, the neck... along with a few tricks turned yellowish tan! I'm so happy, I still need to do a lot of work with the chrome Hardware (oxidized rusty look) I'm still currently experimenting with chemical solutions that will age the hardware, here's some pics

Now that the shine is gone... some rust will complete the look

I'll open a new forum thread for this relicing project maybe in a week after everything is done :)

Check out how this bass sounds in this video:

Hey markbass4444! I like the look of that bridge. I'm also doing a relicing project, would you like to share with me how you did that? You can e-mail me, so we don't get too much off-topic in this thread =)

Yeah, it's great instrument. Plays perfect with both flats and rounds. And it feels like a really nice built bass. And it looks great also =) I don't think you will regret buying one.

This is what i did to my squire p bass. it has sd basslines quarter pound pups, bridge and pups covers, and a tort pickguard, and replaced the knobs with barrel knobs.
Inspired by the pino p bass. put crome flats on it for the finishing touch.

was going to add pics but couldnt find out how to, sorry
