I put some black volume and tone knobs on it that i had floating about and it really looks the business.
Im very tempted to get one of the classic vibe precisions as i really like the look of them.
I'll keep you all posted :D

gold hardware sounds nice but i like to usually leave my basses alone, i dont mind a small bit of modding but i never go overboard, the only reason i changed the knobs for black ones was because i had some lying around from another bass i used to own.
There is one thing though that i always do with my basses is change the pickguards colour, on the squire i've just bought its fine so i'll leave that alone but i hate black or white pickguards in any shape or form, granted, they do look nice on some basses but there not for me and i usually change them at the first opputunity. .
My MIM Precision had a white pickguard on when i bought it :( so out came the spray cans and white became sky blue, looks much better i think.

Here is my latest acquistition, an '05 Squier Affinity P-bass. I got it for next to nothing, and it even has the plastic film on the pg still.

stratplayer12,

How's that Affinity play and feel? I recently got an Affinity P-bass and was quite surprised by the playability of it stock.

Squire VM Jazz Bass Fretless and an Affinity V
The bottom pic has them next to my MIM Jazz and Jazz V

Both the Squiers have the JZ3 pre amps. The Fenders are stock.
I remember seeing the Squire Bullets back in the mid 80 (I think) but thought that they were absolutely awful.Squire really has kicked it into high gear for these Vintage series basses.

Thanx!
