That is awesome to hear. I am on the verge of just going with Squier Basses myself and going with a really nice fender amp. I really like the way my p-bass special plays and I want a vibe.

it's really cool that actual musicians are using them in studio.

Rez, that is a damn nice looking bass.

White has started to catch my eye lately as well. Very striking!

Thanks Andy. White has been the color of choice for me lately. My Accord I got beginning of the year is also white. Someone in a car forum told me white is the new black, so who knows.

Bought my first squire bass yesterday, its a precision special in antique burst and i love the slim jazz neck on it. its more comfortable to play than my MIM Precision and sounds sweet through my laney 4x10 combo.
Heres a pic of it.

What's the bass in the middle? Some sort of short scale bass is it?

The bass in the middle is a medium scale, my missus bought it for me at christmas, its just some cheap and nasty thing but i was thinking of using it for the starting point for a project, it plays ok but not a patch on the other 2 basses and i dont have the heart to tell the missus its a piece of crap.

It's the thought that counts... I know what you mean. My wife always suggest what I should buy, sometimes she thinks because it's a pretty color, it would be good. It's out of love tho right :D

Hey bigbite , congratulations on your beautiful new bass! I saw a 5 string version of that P-bass special sunburst, tortoise shell pickguard but with 2 jazz pickups ! I believe it was elderly or sweetwater that had that bass !
