This is my Korean Squier P bass. No idea what year is was produced.
Anyway, it plays well and sounds really good with the stock pickup, has some pretty cool looking wear on the neck so it's been well played in the past.
Just wish I could find out when it was made but there seems to be a gap in the records as far as Korean Squiers go.

Here's mine, along with its uncle:

Starting to upgrade the hardware a bit - bridge cover, niceer tuners, better string tree and nut soon too.

Gigged it a full gig a week ago - passed with flying colours!

A Squier Affinity that I refinished with honey maple stain and semi-gloss polyurethane this summer...

Telebass- Have you tried flatwounds on the Squier TB? With that humbucker near the neck, it looks like just the ticket for some classic country with flats and a pick. Not that I need another bass, but am always looking for an excuse to get one.

Reckon you'd be right about that, but I don't use a pick, ever (was never a guitarist, only a bass player), and although I have occasionally tried flats, they just don't do it for me soundwise. Too much the rock player! The TB sounds great with rounds and a good modern amp. It's beginning to get its share of the gigs!

The last few years I've had to use a pick or only play for a few minutes with fingers, thanks to tendinitis. Glad it's getting its share of gigs, I've had very good luck with Squiers and wouldn't hesitate to take my P to a gig/jam. Maybe I'll get the chance to try the TB out at the local dealer after selling some gear. :)
