I see there are a couple of new Squier basses on the way. The "classic vibe" early '50s P and 60s J. When are the specs for these going to be up on the main Squier site? That '50s P could be my next purchase if it is as good as the VM series.

Yup, very exciting new series launch and we'll be posting specs and pics on the Squier site early this week.

I really dig the 60s Vibe Jazz Bass, it looks like the only one offering it is Sam Ash so far. Nothing on MF or GC site yet. I really like the tort pg too, considering I'm not a pg kinda guy. Here's a link to the Sam Ash site, nothing even on the Squier site yet: Pbass, http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem. ... GroupCode=

JBass, http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem. ... GroupCode=

I dig the Olympic white on the JBass. :)

There are 3 CLassic Vibe Basses.

http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?section=basses&subcat=classicvibeseries

1 J-Bass '60s
1 P-Bass '50s
1 P-Bass '60s

They all look pretty nice.

Awesome, they haven't updated their site yesterday morning. Cool. The Pbass looks awesome.

I'm wondering if these basses are made in Indonesia, after how well crafted the VM series are, I wonder if they get to build these babies now too...

These look great, and if they're up to the same quality as the "Vintage Modified" series basses, I bet they'll play and sound great too.

Looking forward to reading the reviews once these hit retail.

It's like the HiMass bridge on the new Fender MIA's.
