Hello, I would like to know if you can take the Ferils out and put bigger tuners in that seem to fit snugly without the Ferils?

BTW: I lost the Bullet Squier P-Bass by $2.50, it went for $200.00 total cost!

Thanks for your time, I hope to here from B-Dave, I guess....Billy3

I think you mean bushings instead of ferrules. You really need the bushings. You can drill larger holes yourself or have it done at any wood shop with a drill press. Fill the holes with glued in plugs made from cut dowel segments of the original hole diameter and then redrill to the size needed for the replacements.

I know it sounds like big trouble, but that really is the best solution. If you try to redrill without plugging the existing holes first I can guarantee one or more holes will be off kilter.

Also a drill press is pretty much a requirement. I don't have one but would take it to a cabinet or carpentry shop. Should only cost about 15 bucks if you fill the holes yourself. After filling the holes let the glue dry at least a full day. Elmers wood glue is fine, or Gorilla Glue.
