Hello, in short, does anyone know if a S/N NC75....... is from a "Yako Taiwan" Plant, with the year being 1997?
Because, Wikipedia info says it's "probably" from "Yako," with the first numeral being the Year.....It looks older than 97?

Also, I'm not sure about Chinese quality?

Thanks

Most Squier serials with a "C" in them are from China. The YAKO plant in Taiwan ones usually begin with a Y. However some sources do say the NC ones are probably Yako also. Possibly a 97. You can contact FMIC Consumer Relations and they might can tell you something definitive.
