It's beautiful no doubt to that.

I just picked up a 1988 Squier today, my first bass and run over here to see who else has one.

They are some of the best basses with a fender decal,Fender even slapped on US decals in the early 80's when the company was treading water waiting for the first ever series of the re-issue models to be shipped out,Yeah they were that good, now the whole world knows it and the 125.00$ used price-tag is now 700.00$(dep on make and model)but youcan still get killer basses shipped over from Japan, not much cheaper but much better.
nice bass

Thanks all! Here she is after restoration!

Actual 62 RI PUs, correct bridge and period correct electronics! (These are 60K pots but date accurate would have been 50K!)

These are quite hard to find these days!

I'd rather not say what I paid for it!

To me it's priceless!

I hear ya My reason for asking was I have the same bass which I bought brand new in 81 or 82 and I am being told its worth nothing It is in the JV era. I was looking for a new bass but after seeing what you have done I may go for the restoration also

Very nice! Glad you were able to re-do your bass in a way that worked for you. Nice job.
