lighter gauge, but most notably, your amp setting, take away any bass from it, put your tone on the bass flat, play around from there. Good luck.

Hotter pick-ups at the bridge side,play closer to the bridge soloing the bridge position pick-up,use stainless rotosounds 40-105 gauge will assist as well as blasting the tone knob full tilt.back off the neck pick-up.TRY'EM ALL,they tell me its fun. :mrgreen:
