I own a Squier 70's Modified Jazz Bass, and I have noticed that the E string is buzzing. All of the other strings are perfect, and it's only the E string. I would be happy to get some answers to why this is happening. Many thanks!

Could be a number of things, saddle on the bridge set too low, rogue fret popping up slightly, nut slot cut too deep, crap strings (ie bad tension) etc.

I agree with Ally. Mine was the adjustment, but I ended up getting a BadAss II put on, the buzzing went away. Great excuse to get the BadAss II for me :D

the intonation can play a big art of string and fret buzz so unless you know what to do, take it to a guitar shop and ask for thier advice: which should come for free but a "full setup" can cost a few £/$.
