It depends.
Some aftermarket necks can cost more than an new Squier. Mighty Mite makes Fender licensed necks, though at a more reasonable price, about a $100 bucks or so, How compatible they are with Squiers, I have no idea.
Can I ask, why are you wanting to change the neck?

I snapped the headstock completely off of it. I had it repaired but it came loss on the repair. I'm not sure if it can be repaired again without it breaking in the same spot. So I'm looking at my options. fix neck vs new neck vs new bass. Hmmmm

I wouldn't fix it. It would be a waste of time and money.
As I said, a new neck can be expensive, unless you go with the Mighty Mite. I'm sure others here could tell you if an MM neck would work with a Squier. I've heard they fit in Fenders just fine, I would think they should work with a Squier, but I can't tell you if that's true or not.
Anyone else here care to chime in with Mighty Mite experiences and how they fit Squiers?
PS- I don't know if the Mighty Mites come with pre-slotted nuts or not, but if not, you should be able to use the one from the broken neck.
Something else to think about.
If all this seems like too much hassle, you should be able to sell off the body and it's parts to help offset some of the cost for getting a new bass.

I had it repaird once already but the repair came undone. I'm thinking I may just get another bass as I don't have much in it and can get a neck later or just put it in the closet after I fix it. Either way, it would be nice to know if this can be replaced with a MM neck. I know you can't get replacment fender necks but would a squire replacement neck be available?

As I said, anything other than a Mighty Mite neck would be more than buying a new Squier, upwards of $300 or more. At this point, I think your safest bet would be just to get a new one.
Besides, it's always fun to get a new bass! :D
I have one of these, a Squier Vintage modified Jazz, you might want to check out, $299 new:

Great bass at a great price. Then again, you can say that about all the Squier Vintage Modified and Classic Vibe lines.

I was like that before i was planning to get an affinity J Bass or a VM, i did the research stuff for the right tuning keys, i even contacted hipshot, schaller and gotoh for the sizes ... etc... and I checked Warmoth, Mighty Mite and Allparts, also the thing to consider is the pocket holes.. sometimes they won't fit.. also the holes comes with different tuning keys..

i also checked on the pickups, read reviews after reviews, sound clips, tests .. .etc and also strings stuff, and here i learned the pots and the capacitors.. sheesh... once i acquired my knowledge... i ended up getting a Fender Standard.. they were completely stock and gigged with it, later then I tried the Original 62 pickups plus the D'Addario Chromes/GHS Precision Flats then I'm all set.. well that's the whole story..
