looks cool. I'm not really in the market for another bass but this looks cool. I sure wish Squire woild issue a mustang or music master bass in their classic vibe series.

Yeah, WorldMusicSupply.com has all these up for sale. The VM Jaguar bass as shown above, a VM Precision with maple neck and natural amber finish, and a '77 Jazz VM, black with maple neck and pearloid block inlay markers.
Nice.
Funny enough, they're not mentioned anywhere on the official Squier website.

Yes it is real, whether you believe it or not is irrelevant. As I said, World Music Supply has them on pre-order. They may not be out yet, but they do exist.
And ugly.... well me personally, the only thing I don't like about it is the tort pickguard. I'm not a big fan of tortoiseshell. Again that's my personal preference.

i agree with bathead on this one, a $270/ $300 bass, that is beautiful in my opionion, maybe get a balck, maybe white pickguard on the jaguar. but the new VM precision with maple neck is very nice looking, i have the current VM p-bass, descent, but a maple neck! heck yeah! and the new jazz is also very beautiful!! black on black is the way i roll, and then white block inlays on maple fretboard, sweet!

maybe trade my VM and some cash for the new VM jazz even!

Just an update - Apparently Sam Ash now has all these VM basses (Jaguar, '77 Jazz, Amber finish P-bass) on pre-order.
Any doubts left?
