I am in need of a pickguard for an Indian made Squire II P-Bass body. There are only 11 holes in the body to screw in the pickguard and most Fender style P-Bass pickguards have 13. Will a Fender style P-Bass pickguard work (with me having to drill 2 extra holes in the body) or will I need something else? Thanks in advance!

I have that same Indian-made Squier II with no pickguard at all. I'd love to know the answer. I don't even have a pickguard to make a tracing and that makes me sad.

use tracing paper on a p bas template, put over you bass, trace you pup position. From there, send to WD or some other online pickguard retailer for a custom.

Good idea, thanks. I found a good template here.
