I see that the CV guitars have a new line of colors to choose from. Does anyone know if there will be a similar line of new CV bass colors?

I know this thread is old, but I'm curious about this myself. I love the sonic blue on my 60's. but I think I'd like to see another color too, maybe a burst or candy apple red like the strat.

Agreed. And while we are at it, no bridge cover would be good too. I know that I can take it off, but then I got 2 damn holes.

It took a while for me to like the cover, but yes, it would have been nice for me to make the decision to put it on or not. I ordered it online and the picture didn't show the bass with the cover.

I'd like to love it but having read it all I can't figure out what the surprise was. Could you give me a clue?

Yeah, plenty of bass V requests. P5 and CV quality J5 basses. Along with a squier hoppus, fretless (unlined) p or pj, squier coronado bass, bass VI, J6 fretted and fretless, blocked jazzes and pbasses, and 62 pbass, more CV colors and soapbars on some of their bass of the more popular requests.

A post 50's P-Bass with classic vibe quality in ANY color with maple fingerboard finished like the CV 60's headstock. Basically, just a CV 60's P-Bass with a maple board.

Is that too much to ask?

I posted this 1 1/2 years ago, and Squier comes through with the Matt Freeman sig. I got it in yesterday and it really is just what I was looking for. Although it's not in the Classic Vibe line, it's basically a CV without the sticker. The maple board is SLICK! I could be wrong, but it could have birdseye figuring. I got the vintage white model and will be posting pics soon.
