hey,

does anyone else think there ought to be a squier version of the mark hoppus jazz bass? i've always thought it made sense, seeing as though the average blink 182 fan doesn't have £500 (sorry, i know its an american forum, but i'm english, and thats how much they cost over here) to spend on a bass.

tait.

Save your english pounds up and just buy the Fender Mark Hoppus. It is a great bass that you will enjoy for a long time.

I'm dreaming of Mark Hoppus Bass.. But I think it doesn't worth price it costs, I'd rather buy '51 P-bass.. But I'd buy Squier Hoppus bass even with Squier pickup.. Sorry for my English  I'm from Russia))

Squier has already a Mike Dirnt P-Bass if you like so much that blink182/Green Day stuff. They did a Tom DeLonge Strat a couple of years ago then discontinued it shortly after. But a Squier version of the Mark Hoppus J-Bass would be a nice addition - with the only difference being a Duncan Designed reverse split pickup instead of the SPB-3.

Hope they also release a Billy Joe Armstrong Strat as well to fill out the niche.
