Has anyone else got one of these? What do you think? I've been astounded by just how good this is. I've gigged it a few times, and it does the job well.
The big "mudbucker" does not work well with 'traditional' amps - it turns to pure mud. But with modern solid-state gear, I've been able to coax some really big sounds out of it that are not muddy, but sure are deep!

I've not tried that one but I have played the VM precision and jazz basses and I have to say, I was impressed.

If there's interest, I'll repost on here the review I wrote and posted on many of the other bass forums I inhabit.

Please do, or at least direct me to where I ca read the reviews as I am looking to get a bass, and I have rounded my decision down to this one or one of the various P-Basses Squier offers. Thanks!

I bought a VM TB a few months ago and am absolutely delighted with it. I own a bunch of Fender Ps and was attaracted to the TB by its design and price.

A great bass, for sure.

I also just bought a Squier P-special 5 that is also amazing.
