6 of one, half dozen the other.

Play some and decide for yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Squiers.
I have a Squier P-bass, which is my "beater" bass, I'll drag it around the house, take it outside, not care about it, etc. It plays and sounds well, but it's missing something. JMO

Very happy with my old school P-Bass. The thing is built like a tank and it sounds great. All you need.

I never really looked at the Squier's, but I'm planning on trying out one of the Classic Vibe 60's Jazz Basses if they have them in stock.

I stopped by the local Guitar Center today, and tried out the Classic Vibe Jazz Bass. I was definitely impressed and it'll be my next purchase once I get the funds together.

Hi I just got an affinity Jazz Bass, I got it for customization purposes only. I own other Fender Jazz Basses but after playing this Squier I was surprised on how it sounds, WOW sounds good! For under $200 I'll give it a "NOT BAD" excellent sustain and every note is balanced! BTW I got it sale.... :D

check out how it sounds here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilCw6o8yFGE

here's a picture of the bass

and here's how I would want it to look like:

I'm installing Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups hand wound.

It's gonna sound like the early 60's model Jazz bass.

I love my Squier Dirnt Sig.

The Affinities play really nice.

I just bought a used Squire P bass for student. It sounds great and it already has some natural relicing.

Some basses just have it. Regardless of price. Some just have it.

i bought a squier p bass and thought it would not sound that great but when i played it it sounded great, as good, if not better, as fender basses. it stands out well in a band and dosen't get drowned out by other guitars.

Just got a 70's Vintage Jazz Bass and am extremely satisfied. Like every bass I've owned I had to lower the strings, no big deal.

Pics are on Photobucket, look for oxfans gallery
