I need a replacement pickguard (white pearloid) for a 1996 Squier Pro Tone V. The one I have is severely broken near the jack and pieces are missing. Any ideas short of cutting my own replacement from a piece of stock?

if they dont have one in stock they'll make you a custom one, you just provide a clean line drawing (1:1 scale) of your pickguard which shouldn't be too hard, just a case of tracing your existing one :)

Look in their FAQ for more info on their custom PG service, I plan to use it my self very soon.

Thanks, but I can do that myself, and would rather save the $$. I was hoping Fender might have an old replacement in stock.

I am looking at a used Squire Precision Pro Tone 5 string bass. It has a nice red trans finish with gold hardware. How do you like yours?? Is it a high quality bass, as many have said the Pro Tone series is a quality axe. What is your opinion, and what was the cost of yours?? Thanks!!
