Yup, using my Jazz Active V for all my gigs and studio work. I still have my original J-type around, but I do all my important stuff with my Squier now. It was my replacement for a Grieco Precision (had to go 5-string...).

I use my Squier as a backup to my '64 Precision. I've never had to use it but wouldn't have a problem if it became necessary.

Of course! I've got three Squier bass guitars, and they have all gotten stage time =)

Here's one photograph to prove it, on stage with my Vintage Modified Jazz.

A Squier VM 50's LPB for the oldies band and a Squier MB 5 string moded with Ultras for the blues gets a lot of action here on Cape Cod. Love 'em!
Bravo Squier.

I gigged with an MB4 for 5 years from 1993 to '98. See my recent post under Question about Skull and Crossbones MB4 base.

I'm going to perform as a bassist for the first time (I've been playing and learning since August) with a P Bass Special L/H so I'll report on the results. :)

I play at least once a week. Just picked up a Sandard Jazz bass about a month ago. I get compliments on tone and looks everytime.

I just added the Affinity Jazz Bass V to my arsenal.
So now I use...

Affinity J-Bass V (soon to be modded w/ the Audere JZ 3)
VM Jazz Bass Fretless (modded w/ the JZ 3)
Ibanez CTBN 5 string converted fretless
Ibanez BTB 4 string Active
Ovation Acoustic 4 string converted fretless
10 string Chapman Stick

I run it all through a Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro powered by a QSC Contractor Grade 1500 watt amp pushing a Behringer 4x10 on bottom and 2x10 on top and controlled by a Behringer FCB1010. Plus an Axiom Distortion pedal,Boss Volume Pedal, and a Pro Co A/B switch. All strung with Rotosound Swing Bass 66's and DR Black Beauties. The Affinity will make it's performance debut on the 25 of April at the 2009 Orlando Florida AIDS Walk.

Whew!

A lot of people are posting that they us their Squires as "back up basses".Man,don't deprive yourselves of the enjoyment of playing these beauties live.I used my VM Fretless at the Orlando Latin American Film Festival and it sounded tremendous.I never touched my Ibanez CTBN fretless (and I considered that my main bass for over 15 yrs). This was before I added th JZ-3 Preamp. Now the VM is a real killer.I love my Squires.Way under priced, IMHO.

I use my Squier Affinity Series P-Bass every time I play. It works perfect. It's my favorite out of all my basses.
