Why did they stop making Squier Bass amps? Where they just not selling? It seems like there would be a market for a sub - $100 amp that the rumble doesn't meet. Any ideas?

It's a business, they probably weren't making any $$$ from it, giving it away on the starter pack.

Spirit doesn't pay the bills.

i think it is the whole fact about money making: i know over here in the UK they don't sell well on thier own and when it costs for them buy the parts, to be made and then shipped, its like throwing money out of the window when they dont sell.

also, although i cant back my point up but there could be a fact that they have a tendancy of becoming faultier overtime than to say, more affordable fender amps or your norm' practice/gigging amp.
