i agree with saving though i do love my VM fretless i think its worth saving a little more and treating yourself to the real deal or perhaps something to suite your bass preferences

Yes these are sweet basses. I replaced the SD pup's with Custom Shop pup's Just my choice and I also replaced bridge with Fender stock and vintage reverse tuners with Roto Sounds.Swwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! :lol:

I played the MIM fretless Jazz bass in my store the other day, it was very yummy, creamy and easy to play. I saw the squier at GC yesterday tho at $280 (plus I have a 10% off coupon), I might just have to get it to have fun as I learn on my affinity fretted! I've heard that you should immediately put flatwounds on it or it will mar the neck tho!
