Look a China made Squier; 2005 or 1995 ?
Neck look worn/ dirty ,Body with few ding , not a 2005 IMO

Actually, that serial number doesn't follow the general rule of Chinese Squiers; it should be CY05(etc.) for a 2005, CY95(etc.) for a 1995 guitar.
I don't remember ever seeing a blue factory installed pickguard on a black Squier Tele. It's possible, but I'd guess the pickguard is a mod.

The original wiring probably is this: Affinity Telecaster Wiring

If you take the guitar apart, take picks of the pickups, wiring etc; the forum may be able to tell if the pickups and wiring is modded (upgraded).

Other than that, the China (& other Far East) versions are hard to track - the original info/specs usually isn't available.

One piece of advise: make sure the guitar is set up properly (by a pro or by yourself), it should play just fine. Telecaster Setup Guide
