Wow, I can get an LP and a VG and still have money for strings and an amp. LOL! It’s good to see the price was lowered…are we sure it’s not $4,550 pesos.

I have the 51 in Sunburst and I love it. I have a Fender Tele and a couple of Squier Strats, and I like them all a lot, but I was really struck by the unique look of the 51. Fender really created something with this one and I'm glad I was able to lay my hands on one before they were gone. If you get a chance grab one, you won't regret it.

Hey, I have 3 & love them. All modded a bit, pickups, bridges, knobs, & a neck on one, etc. There's quite a following.

The Squier 51 is great guitar for a hot rod process. It is a decent piece of gear and a great value as it comes but you can also upgrade and fool around with replacement parts for an unique instrument tailored to your needs.

The Squire '51 came around at a great time for me. With a toddler running around I didn't want to keep any of my more expensive guitars out on their stands. I picked one of these up for $99 and it is an absolute steal... if you can find anymore!

I have a squire 51 and it is great. I play it through a Fender G-DEC. The sound is very good. It sounds a lot better than some guitars 3 times the price. I will not sell it because I do not think I could get anything better for what I could get for it.

Hi, I have had my '51 for a good while now, and it's a killer guitar for the money. Too bad it's been discontinued. I did some minor mods on mine (new bridge and nut) but it's a great grab and go guitar with a cool sound of its own.

I wrote up a review over on my site, and there's plenty of video clips demoing it.

The '51 is a great guitar for modding and messingn around with.

Jason-

Your '51 looks a lot like mine. Doesn't the pearl GuitarFetish pickguard look elegant on the black finish? I took the neck pickup cover off - mainly for looks. I didn't see the grain on your neck, but I lucked into a nice bird's-eye fingerboard.

Mine also sports a Kahler Tremolo - a little pricey for a $100 guitar, but I bought it 20 years ago and it's definitely paid for:-)
