Hi People,
I'm a newbie on the forum so if I do something wrong let me know. (I have broad shoulders)

I am thinking of a Fender Mini for my Grand daughter. She has just turned 6 and is small. I think the Mini would be a good choice to have laying around to see if she will have an interest in learning, (and be like Grampie). I haven't gigged professionally in more than 35 years but still love playing for me ( family and friends).
Im looking for some input on my above mentioned ideas and would like some info on where to find set-up and intonation details for such a short scale, or would I just have to rely on prior experience with my own instruments. I have found little on set-ups for the Squire line. Is the Mini considered part of the Squire short scale set up?
Sorry for the long post.

Thanks in advance,
Shadowwalker
