Last year I purchased a beat up Squier Vintage Modified Custom II Tele. Removed the P-90's, installed some GFS Mini Filtrons, stripped the black paint off, and stained the body. Sold the neck for enough money to buy an Allparts neck. Stained it using shoe polish, clear coated it after applying a new water slide. I'll need vintage sized tuners and. Nut, but it's nearly ready!

I like it too. The pickups look sharp in it, let us know how it sounds.

You were lucky to find decent wood under the black finish.
Let's see the back too,please.

The guitar is nice.
But: A Squier body, some custom electronics and an Allparts neck do not equal Fender Telecaster.
Really, couldn't you just let it proudly be a Squier?

+1
Very cool, except the decal. Not a fan of people applying Fender decals to non Fender guitars.

I like it, Yeah it's not a real fender, but at least he didn't put a S/N on it :P
