As much as I would love to always say great things about Fender products, sometimes we have a bad experience. This one was my fault, though. I purchased a Squier Telecaster several years ago through online order. When I received it, it looked great. Metallica green. As I went to play, I found the action set way too high. So I worked at adjusting that. But then there was always one section on the fret board that would not allow sound on the high g string. I got easily tired ,too, since the guitar was so heavy. I always had to sit to play it. Plus, the neck was too thin for my long fingers and strings too close together. Morale of the story, never buy a guitar without playing it first.

I'm sure the fret problem is repair able, just sand em down with a very fine file. And you can get wonderful sound from a Squier Tele if you throw a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 in the Bridge.

Hey xerovis, Thanks for the tip. I no longer have that Telecaster. Just wasn't for me.

Some guitars just don't click with you, and that is a must with instruments.
