I own a Black one. Think of it as a Strat body, a Tele neck, a '51 P-Bass pickguard, with a Strat single coil in the neck position, and a humbucker in the bridge position.

I got mine in Mar of 2006, I paid samash $100. I'm modified mine by putting new knobs on it. Many other folks did many, many mods to theirs.

They are a fine guitar - mine had no issues - I just needed new strings, and a setup. Some folks had issues with the frets - mine didn't. Many folks replace the pickups, the pickguard, the electronics, and some even re-paint them.
