I have a Squier Affinity Strat (the one that came with an amp) and I need a new trem block. Anyone know which one I need to get? I noticed Fender sells a few different ones.

I'm having the same problem.
I have a Made in China Squier Affinity Strat with the trem arm broken off in the block. The block has the 10.5mm spacing like most imports, but it has a 10-32 trem arm spaced toward the rear of the block. Most imports use the 6mm trem arm more centered on the block. The block height is 34mm which is shorter than other imports which have a block height of 39mm. I'm going crazy trying to find one that will fit. Anyone have a solution?

I also broke off the trem arm in the trem block. I may just drill drown and try to shred some of the trem arm that is stuck inside the block. Then buy a new trem arm and hope the threads are still there. I'd still like to get a new trem block though, help?

The hole for the trem arm on my block is drilled and tapped all the way through. I'm gonna try to drill from the bottom on a drill press with a 5/32" bit using the original hole as a guide. Hopefully I won't damage the threads in the process. If I do I can always redrill and tap the hole for the larger 6mm trem arm since mine uses the 10-32 American style arm. I would also like to find a new block.

Well I got the broken arm drilled out. I nicked the threads a little right near the top of the hole, but no big deal. I ordered a new arm and when I got it the bends didn't come close to matching the original arm. Long story short, I could have spent $11.70 in shipping both ways to return it and have no arm or spend $9.69 on the arm plus shipping and make the arm work. I chose the latter.
I still would like to find a new block for this guitar. I can't believe NOBODY has one available.

Don't know if it's too late but there's a guy on ebay that makes his own and they appear to be what you(and I) are looking for. His username is nohedrm. He's got both brass and steel blocks.
