I've been playing for 40 years and I feel that it doesn't matter what it says on the headstock but what comes from the player which makes any guitar sound good.

Good morning fellow forum members. I bought this Squier Affinity Butterscotch model brand new, at Guitar Center a couple of months ago. It also has a new Fender " F " logo neck plate along with a (fake) 1950's Fender Spaghetti logo on the headstock .
Oops! :?

It is NOT the instrument. It's the player.

Squier is kicking butt among the budget lines in basses. .

I have Zero issues gigging my Squier VM Jazzmaster (special) for the last 2 years. Everything has been quality with the upper Squier line of CV and VM with the exception, of the Bridge pickup in the CV line. That pickup, is notorious for going dead..so NO..I would not be gigging out with that stock pickup waiting for failure to happen

When you don't have the Luxury of changing guitars every other song thru out the night, any guitar at that point, is being put to the test when it has to carry the whole gig

Giggn' out with my VM Jazz
