I have also been looking at Marshall Amps, although they are a bit more money, but have some features on them.

Go on eBay and search for Dragonfire. That's what mine is and they have almost all the different styles and price ranges you could want. Works great right out of the box!

I'm new here,and it looks like someone has beat me to it. I was going to ask about the Squier guitar & amp packages that a beginner can get started on. I am thinking the Sqier Telecaster Affinity model with that little 15G Frontman amp. My question is this,...how do the Squier gutitars compare to the regular Fender models? I ask that because I am thinking about a standard Fender Telecaster as well. I tried guitar years ago,but didn't have much success due to a teacher or two who was only interested in lining their pockets with money,...got discouraged and gave up. But now,I would like to come back to it and give it another try,...but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a new outfit. The Squier packages look mighty encouraging to buy and get going on guitar again.

My gear as of now;
Standard Strat
Hot Rod Deluxe III amp
Champion 20 amp
'59 Bassman LTD Reissue
