so between you, with your wealth of knowledge you purchased guitars on craigslist, even the unplayable?

don't tell me.... research.

Your findings from your research have led you to the conclusion that only a few in every thousand or so squiers are anywhere near playable. Well the truth in that statement is a few in every thousand or so.......... people who purchase a squier are disatisfied with their purchase, you are one of the few i am one of the masses.

Also you have come to the conclusion that any squier from 2007-09 were complete trash, when i can prove to you that this is not the case as i have an 09 guitar sat here next to me that plays like a dream, in fact i had a fella play it just the other day and he has a number of MIA standards through to custom shops, and he said he couldnt tell the difference between mine and a £1000 MIA guitar. That compliment in itself was enough to convince me that you do not have a clue what you are talking about.

I shall finish with a question. You say you are thinking of swapping out the hardware of you HWY1 and putting them on the body of the CV you have, why would you do that if everything about it is inferior? I mean you basically trashed it a few months ago saying the wood was of poor quality, its no wonder i get confused, if you can't make your mind up.

I'm saying, I wouldn't shop craigslist for me.

And, I have no idea what the actual Squier numbers are, I'm just telling you what my experiences were.

So...I'm not "telling" you what you are thinking, just what I experienced.

I hope this helps.

YMMV!

you seemed pretty certain in the other thread when you were telling us your findings and saying that only a few from thousands were good guitars, when in fact and funnily enough only the few you purchased were bad guitars, when thousands were getting good ones.

I would have been put off if i had your bad luck, but i wouldn't of had to purchase 10 guitars to come to the conclusions you have. Just one and a replacement would have been enough for me (or anyone else for that matter) to get my money back and go elsewhere.

Maybe if you had not tried to tell us we all have poor quality instruments, because of what you have experienced this whole arguement would not have continued for as long as it has.
When you drive a car you have to engage a gear before you can go anywhere, maybe you should take driving lessons for your mouth, engage brain before speaking.

I suppose what i am trying to say is if you had worded your opinions differently, they would have fallen on more symapthetic ears, but as seeing as the only thing that has changed is your story, this leads me to believe that you aren't being completely truthful.

Lets try a different angle on this. You purchase an "ACME electronics" TV, and it doesn't work. So you take it back and get a replacement, which still doesn't work. Do you.......
A. get a refund, go elsewhere, and purchase a different make and model?
Or
B. Purchase 8 more TV's that are all bad until you decide to call it research, because you are to stubborn to put it down to bad luck and stupidity

Please, reptitive behaviour by yet again questioning my sanity is not only laughable but very childish, and something i would expect not to come from a 51 year old. I could talk to you like a child, but that would be childish on my part, and i am not prepared to stoop to your level.

I will ask you once not to question my sanity or insult me i will not tolerate it any more, and if you have nothing sensible to say please don't say anything, its probably better for all of us.
