Hello,

I bought this squire about ten years ago second hand. I believe it's a HM series but none of the ones I've seen had a pickguard and have the pointy headstock.
I apologise if this has been covered in a prior post. I searched and searched and didnt see anything like this one. thanks-dm

Id like to change over to a s-s-s configuration but, I dont want to change something that maybe I shouldnt.

Three options -
Bin the humbucker and fit a single coil.
Coil tap the humbucker.
Buy a Strat-a-like.

It's not an appreciating rare vintage guitar and never will be, so don't sweat over it.
