Ok so Im putting together a partscaster and Im using a fender squier body. Not sure which squier it is but I was wondering what kind of tremolo would work with the squier body? (6 screw) I have a wilkinson wvpc sb but im not sure if the holes will line up. its a retro fit for american strats and Ive been reading alot and best i can tell squier and american have diff spacing for them holes.

Got a ruler? Measure the spacing center to center of the outer most holes.

If the bridge is for vintage 6-hole American Strats it most likely won't fit. Again, just measure.

Is it just the screw holes that don't line up, or is the steel block too deep for the body aswell? If its just the holes you could always fill the old ones and start again by drilling for the wilko trem.

just the screw holes. like the first 3 fit but last three are too narrow. plus using that bridge will bring the to E strings too close to the edge of the fretboard.

Yeah, you would need a trem made for imports or MIM strats (same).
