I just purchased a Squier Stratocaster and am trying to find out if it is an Affinity model or a different model. The serial number is VN602126....Is there a data base I can look this up. Thanks for your help......Mark

All that is available is that it was made in 1996 in Korea. But if you can upload a pic of the headstock it is easy to tell the difference between a SE, Affinity, or Standard. If the headstock is unaltered. If the truss rod access has a black plastic insert it is a standard, Affinities and SE's had no insert and were bare wood. Affinties have a small "Affinity Series" decal on the face of the headstock and the Se had none. many only said STRAT
