If your worried about string spacing I have a Vintage bridge with 10.8mm spacing and I have an affinity neck, I don't have any issues. Your talking about 1 /32" difference on each side at the bridge and 1/64" at the 12th fret. Unless you pull your strings off the frets you should not have a problem. If the fret board has rolled edges then It could be an issue. To put things in perspective the difference in string spacing is about the same as a Lt guage B string.

They have another bridge with 10.5mm spacing that is convertable but it has the vintage 6 saddle bridge like my 72 Tele had.

Might work. Doesn't have the front 2 mounting holes and this statement is a little worrisome: "The pickup cavity might not line up with every body out there- but that should be a very easy fix".

I went through all this and checked out all the GF bridges and others until I found the Squier Standard Tele bridge on The Stratosphere. The Squier Standard Tele bridge is a direct fit on the Affinity. Just need to drill the body holes using whatever tool you have available.

PS: I used a hammer to install the string ferrules. :o

I saw a video of Jeff Beck talking about his guitar collection. He seemed quite satisfied with an old string mount bridge on his tele. I like that the Affinity bridge doesn't have a side wall on it. I tend to hit one at times. I would leave it.
