Hi there. Yesterday I went to a music shop to try some guitars and found out that the body that I find myself more comfortable is the Telecaster and Stratocaster. Assuming that I prefer Tele's over Strat's, which Tele would you recomeend me? I play Pink Floyd (favourite guitarist! David Gilmour ROCKS!), Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple(RIP Jon Lord :( ) , ZZ Top, Ted Nugent, etc. And I don't want to spend more than 300 euros. Keep in mind that its Euros €€.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I prefer maple fingerboard.

The standard is a good starting point.
http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_ ... _rw_ab.htm

Or theres the custom, a good looking guitar
http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_ ... tom_bk.htm

the custom II P90
http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_ ... p90_bb.htm

But i really like the looks of this for under 300euros
http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_ ... cial_b.htm

if you could stretch your budget a little go for one of these

Thanks! Those are really a couple of choices. Which one is the most suitable for my playing?

Yeah, that one that he played in the 50th anniversary of Fender concert. The guitar I have has a Strat body and I have played Tele's and I prefer the Tele. Dont ask me why.

the tele has a more gritty sound good for punk/rock, the strat is a songbird has a beautiful clean tone to it

Yeah, the Tele should fit. The poor and bad quality kind of Strat I have should fill that clean tone you are taling about. Thanks for the info!
Btw, that Tele Custon with P90 looks interesting but what about the one with Humbuckers? What diferences are there between the Custom and the Custom II?
