Recently bought a Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom - looks, feels and sounds great, with one small problem. It has no string tree fitted (and no hole where it should be). This seems like a minor problem, but my high E string has jumped out at the nut a few times.

I've been to the retailer, and the importer (I'm in New Zealand), but they can't seem to get a stock string tree for me. I'd like the correct part, since I paid for the whole guitar!

Does someone at Fender/Squier read these posts? Can you please help?

if the guitar is new you need to look at the warranty laws in NZ but i would say this is a job for your retailer to chase up, i wouldnt accept "sorry we cant get one", bull**** if you can get a guitar you can get the parts, even if they order the part, and take one from a guitar in stock, and fix that when the part comes in

Fender has vintage string trees available in there accessories. Just like the one that came (or should have) on your classic vibe. I would think a Fender Dealer could get one. That being said there are a lot of music dealers that are not true Fender Dealers and that is where many problems start. I would suggest e-mailing Fender Customer support.

Here's a link to one on ebay that has a part #
