Here's mine it's a 1989 Samick MIK squier strat, I changed the wiring to a series parallel combination with a push pull volume pot, did some kitchen foil shielding, changed the string tensioners to GOTOH, and did a fret level and crown. Still needs a few things, but boy she's back from the dead and singing great! :D

I feel the same way about my 85 E series MIJ Squier as well, it's one of the best feeling Strats I've played in a long time!

I tore out just about everything. All new pickups, pots, switches, tuners, and bridge.

opted for Sperzel locking tuners. Dimarzio True Velvet pickups, Proline Chrome Bridge (direct fit) Full size Pots and 5- way switch.
Plays like a dream. Oh... got rid of the squier logo and put on a transition Fender waterslide decal.

What did you do to remove the old logo?

Just got done with my Squier Strat rebuild and it plays very nice! I want to tweak the action a little more as I think it could be better but overall it's much better and sounds awesome through my Blackheart Little Giant. I've installed Dragonfire pickups, CTS pots, Fender 5 way switch, Orange drop cap, Switchcraft output jack, and vintage cloth wiring. I also added vintage amp knobs and black 3 ply pick guard which gives it a extra cool look. On the other end I've installed Planet Wave's self trimming/ locking tuners, I really like them!

I believe that this should disqualify you from being in the "Squier" Strat club. You are obviously quite happy with your guitar.....why go through the trouble of removing the Squier logo?

I got a beauty sunburst HSS. I wanna mod it to a HSH and get a black pickguard and black knobs. I'll post up pics tomorrow. :)

Changed the logo again, and changed the nut to a graphite one.
